Are misaligned, crooked teeth cramping your smile, but you shiver at the thought of wearing unsightly bracket-and-wire braces? With Invisalign®, you can show off your smile while you work to achieve the perfect smile!
Agate Dental is proud to offer Invisalign® for Mechanicsburg-area patients.
Invisalign® revolutionized orthodontics. You no longer have to settle for the embarrassment of wearing bracket-and-wire braces. Invisalign treatments involve wearing a series of clear aligner trays to gradually nudge teeth into their correct position and orientation. Patients love the results, too!
According to a recent survey published in the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, those who were treated with Invisalign were just as satisfied with the results as those who used traditional braces.

Your path to a perfect smile begins with a consultation with the team at Agate Dental, where Dr. Efeturi will evaluate the bite and occlusion of your smile and recommend a treatment plan.
Crafting your treatment plan begins by taking detailed imaging data of your teeth, which is then used to craft your treatment plan. We will also use this data to show you a virtual representation of how your smile will look once your Invisalign treatments are complete.
During your next appointment, you will try on your first set of clear aligners to ensure the fit is precise and comfortable. You can expect to feel light pressure on your teeth, but they should still feel comfortable to wear for prolonged periods.
Depending on your treatment plan, you may receive a new set of clear aligners every week or several weeks. We will schedule you for occasional checkups to monitor the progress of your Invisalign treatments. During these appointments, we will likely remind you to wear your aligners at least 22 hours per day to maximize your results.
At the conclusion of your treatment, your dentist may recommend you wear a set of clear retainers for a certain period of time. If your dentist recommends retainers, it is important to wear these for the prescribed duration to maintain your results.
